This 1 Mexican peso note is part of the Third Issues. It is a black, green, and red note that measures 157 mm x 67 mm, is part of the 1969 BGB series, and bears the signature of Salvador Marquez. Its obverse side features the Aztec calendar. Its reverse side shows the bank seal, a bank guilloche, and the angel atop the MONUMENTO A LA INDEPENDENCIA (Independence Monument) in Mexico City. Though the note does not have a security thread or a watermark, it has a 6-digit serial number. It is also a gem uncirculated note that qualified for Paper Money Guaranty’s Exceptional Paper Quality, experienced minor handling, and has above-average centering. Thus, it is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
