Mexico 1 Peso Banknote, 1969, P-59k, Series BGF, PMG 66

The Mexico 1 Peso Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1969 as part of its Third Issues. The banknote has a combination of black, green, and red. Featured on its obverse is an Aztec calendar. The reverse of the note depicts the bank seal, the Monumento a la Independencia with an angel, and the bank guilloche. The paper bill does not contain a security thread and watermark, however, it has the signature of Alfonso Romo. The note is 157 x 67 mm in size and is part of the Series BGF. It has been graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
