This uncirculated 1 Mexican peso banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Mexico as part of the 1970 BIG series. It is a black, green, and red banknote that is dated 22 July 1970, bears the signature of Alfonso Romo, and measures 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows an Aztec calendar. Its reverse side depicts the Independence Monument (Monumento a la Independencia) and a bank guilloche. The note does not have a security thread or a watermark. It is also demonetized in 1984.
