The Mexico 10,000 Pesos Banknote was released by the Bank of Mexico in 1988 as part of Series NK. It has a color combination of blue, brown, green, and red. Its obverse features La Cangrejera refinery and a portrait of Mexico’s 44th president, Lazaro Cardenas. The reverse depicts the bank seal HALLAZGOS DEL TEMPLO MAYOR (Coyolxauhqui main temple)and La Diosa de la Luna (Moon Goddess) stone carving. It also displays the bank guilloche. The note does not have a watermark but contains a solid security thread. It is 157 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Francisco Barja Martinez and Miguel Mancera Aguayo. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
