The Mexico 10,000 Peso banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1989 as part of the Series PJ. The banknote comes in a combination of blue, brown, green, and red. The obverse features the La Cangrejera oil refinery and a portrait of the countrys 44th president, Lazaro Cardenas. The reverse of the paper bill depicts guilloche and the bank seal store carving illustrating the HALLAZGOS DEL TEMPLO MAYOR (Coyolxauhqui main temple) and the La Diosa de la Luna (Moon Goddess). The banknote is 157 x 67 mm in size and bears a solid security thread. The banknote bears the signature of Jaime Pacreu Vizcaya and is in uncirculated condition.
