This 10,000 Mexican peso note is dated 16 May 1991 and bears the signature of Banco de Mexico Cajero Jaime Pacreu Vizcaya. It is part of the PU series. The note has blue, brown, green, and red colors and dimensions of 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features the La Cangrejera oil refinery and the portrait of Lazaro Cardenas, the 44th president of Mexico. Its reverse side features the Coyolxauhqui Main Temple and the Moon Goddess stone carving. Though the note does not have a watermark, it has a solid security thread.
