The Mexico 10 Peso Banknote was introduced by the Bank of Mexico in 1974 as part of the Series 1DC. It has colors of green, purple, blue, and brown. The note’s obverse features revolutionary Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla and the Dolores bell at the National Palace. The reverse of the note depicts the bank guilloche, the parish of Dolores Hidalgo in Guanajuato, and the bank seal. The banknote does not contain a security thread and watermark but carries a registration device in the form of a stylized eagle’s head. It measures 57 x 67 mm and is signed by Alfonso Romo. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
