Its obverse side shows the Dolores bell found in the Palacio Nacional (National Palace) and a portrait of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla. Its reverse side features a bank guilloche, the bank seal, and a view of the Parish of Dolores Hidalgo in Guanajuato.
