This uncirculated 10 Mexican peso note is dated 16 October 1974 and signed by Alfonso Romo. It is part of the first 1CZ series of banknotes printed by Banco de Mexico’s banknote factory. The green, purple, blue, and brown note measures 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows the Dolores bell found in the Palacio Nacional (National Palace) and a portrait of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla. Its reverse side features a bank guilloche, the bank seal, and a view of the Parish of Dolores Hidalgo in Guanajuato. Though the note does not have a security thread or a watermark, it has a stylized eagle head registration device.
