This 2-piece folder banknote set contains Mexico 100 Pesos and 200 Pesos notes from 2007 and 2008. The 100-banknote was issued to commemorate the centennial of the Mexican Revolution. Its obverse features the locomotive that carried revolutionary troops in 1910. It also shows an ear of corn, a camp follower (Adelita), a corn field, and the map of Mexico as a registration device. The reverse depicts five soldiers in David Alfaro Siqueiros's mural “Del Porfirismo a la Revolucion”, the bank seal, and an ear of corn. The 200-note was released to celebrate the bicentennial of Independence featuring 1dpn Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla with a banner, from Jesus Enrique Emilio de la Helguera Evans’s painting “Don Miguel Hidalgo” On the reverse is the Angel of Independence on Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City. These commemorative banknotes are in uncirculated condition and have matching serial numbers.
