Mexico 100 Pesos Banknote, 1978, P-68a, Series KT, PMG 66

The Mexico 100 Pesos is part of the 1969-1991 Fourth Issues, Series KT. It contains colors purple, black, and red, and it measures 157 x 67 mm. The obverse side shows Venustiano Carranza, three soldiers in Jose Clemente Orozcos painting La Trinchera (The Trench), a stylized eagle eating a snake as a registration device. The reverse side features a coyote and a mountain lion carving from the frieze of Tula, Hidalgo, a bank guilloche, the CHAC MOOL (reclining stone figure), and a bank seal. This banknote measures 157 x 67 mm and does not contain any security thread nor a watermark. It was given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG).
