This uncirculated 100 pesos Mexico note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Mexico. It is a purple, black, and red note that is dated 1981, bears the signature of Gonzalo Garcia Rodriguez, and measures 157 x 67 mm. Its obverse side features Venustiano Carranza, three soldiers in Jose Clemente Orozco’s painting “La Trinchera” (The Trench), and a stylized eagle eating snake as registration device. Its reverse side shows coyote and mountain lion carving from frieze of Tula, a bank guilloche, CHAC MOOL (reclining stone figure), and the bank seal. The note does not have a security thread or watermark. The signature and series on the note vary.
