The Mexico 100 Pesos Banknote is part of the VD Series issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1982. It has a combination of purple, black, and red. Its obverse side features Venustiano Carranza and the three soldiers from the painting “La Trinchera” (The Trench) by Clemente Orozco. Its reverse side features a coyote and mountain lion frieze from Tula, a bank guilloche, a Chac Mool (reclining stone figure), and a bank seal. The note does not have a security thread or a watermark. It is 157 mm x 67 mm in size and bears the signature of Gonzalo Garcia Rodriguez. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
