This Mexico 100 Peso Series VL banknote is part of the 1982 issues of the Bank of Mexico. It comes in a color combination of purple, black, and red. Its obverse features Mexican president Venustiano Carranza and three soldiers in Jose Clemente Orozco’s painting called The Trench. The back depicts a coyote and a mountain lion carving from the frieze of Tula, Hidalgo, the bank guilloche, the bank seal, and a reclining stone figure CHAC MOOL. The paper bill is 157 x 67 mm in size and is equipped with a registration device in the form of a stylized eagle eating a snake. The note has no security thread and watermark but it bears the signature of Gonzalo Garcia Rodriguez. This Mexico 100 Peso banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
