The Mexico 100 Pesos Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 2014 as part of Series AR. The note is predominantly red and yellow. Its obverse features warrior poet, Nezahualcoyotl. It also displays an ear of corn in Optically Variable Ink, a poem about zentzontle, a bird represented by jade, a flower, and two seated men. The back of the note depicts the map of Mexico, the bank seal, the temple, the central square, and aqueduct of Mexico-Tenochtitlan, and a cricket. The note has a windowed motion security thread and a solid security thread. It has a watermark that reveals Nezahualcoyotl and an electrotype 100. It is 134 x 66 mm in size. This particular banknote has been graded 68 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
