The Mexico 100 Peso Banknote from 2016 was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the enactment of the Mexican Constitution. The obverse side features Mexicos 37th president Venustiano Carranza and chairman of Congress Luis Manuel Rojas sworn in before the Constituent Assembly after amending the Constitution. An open book in green-to-gold OVI is also added to the front design. The reverse side features the bank seal and Mexican congressmen swearing to observe and enforce the Mexican Constitution. The note is 134 x 66 mm in size and is equipped with a Green-to-gold Rolling Star Cube windowed security thread to enhance its security features. An Eagle on cactus and electrotype 100 is also made visible under a UV light.
