This Mexico 100 Peso banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 2016 to commemorate the 100th year of the enactment of the Mexican Institution. This paper bill comes in a combination of red and yellow and is 134 x 66 mm in size. Depicted on its obverse is an open book in green-to-gold Optically Variable Ink, 37th president Venustiano Carranza, and Chairman of Congress Luis Manuel Rojas sworn in before the Constituent Assembly after amending the Constitution. The back of the paper bill displays congressmen swearing to abide by the Mexican Constitution. It also shows the bank seal. This banknote is equipped with a green-to-gold RollingStar Cube windowed security thread and a watermark that reveals an eagle on a cactus and an electrotype 100. It also carries the signatures of Agustin Guillermo Carstens and Alejandro Alegre Rabiela. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
