The Mexico 100 Pesos Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 2018 as part of Series BG. The banknote has a color combination of red and yellow. Its obverse features an ear of corn in Optically Variable Ink, a poem about zentzontle, a bird represented by a jade, a flower, and two seated men. It also shows the warrior poet Nezahualcoyotl. The reverse depicts the bank seal, a temple, a central square, a cricket, and the aqueduct of Mexico-Tenochtitlan. The banknote contains a registration device in the form of a map of Mexico. The banknote also has a windowed Motion security thread and security solid security thread and a watermark that reveals an electrotype 100. It is 134 x 66 mm in size and is signed by Alejandro Alegre Rabiela and Javier Guzman Calafell. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
