This uncirculated 100 Mexican peso note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Mexico. It is a red polymer note that is dated 25 May 2022, bear the signatures of Galia Borja Gomez and Alejandro Alegre Rabiela, and measures 132 mm x 65 mm. Both sides of the note are vertically oriented. Its obverse side features Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz and the patio of San Ildefonso College. Its reverse side shows monarch butterflies (Danaus plexippus) and the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve. Because the note is made of polymer, it does not have a watermark. However, it has a simulated security thread with printed 100 PESOS and butterflies.
