This uncirculated 2,000 Mexican peso note is part of the 1987 BF series. It is dated 28 Feb. 1987 and bears the signature of Bank of Mexico Cashier Gonzalo Garcia Rodriguez. It has green, brown, and black colors and dimensions of 157 mm x 67 mm. Its front side features the Mexican writer Justo Sierra and the Historical Representation of Culture mural by Juan O Gorman found in the Central Library of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Its back side depicts the 19th century courtyard, colonnade, and equestrian stature of Carlos IV at the University of Mexico. The note does not have a security thread nor a watermark. However, the features of the note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
