It is a green, brown, and black banknote that is dated 28 March 1989, bear the signatures of Jaime Pacreu Vizcaya, Sergio Ghigliazza Garcia, and Antonio Ortiz Mena, and measures 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features the Mexican writer Justo Sierra and the mural “Historical Representation of Culture” by Juan O’ Gorman.
