This uncirculated 2,000 Mexican peso banknote is a standard circulation banknote that is part of the 1989 DT series. It is a green, brown, and black banknote that is dated 28 March 1989, bears the signature of Jaime Pacreu Vizcaya, and measures 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows the Mexican writer Justo Sierra and the mural Historical Representation of Culture by Juan O’Gorman. Its reverse side depicts the 19th-century courtyard and the Carlos IV equestrian statue at the University of Mexico. The banknote does not have a security thread or a watermark.
