This 2,000 Mexican peso banknote is a standard circulation banknote that is part of the 1989 DT series. It is a green, brown, and black banknote that is dated 28 March 1989, bear the signatures of Jaime Pacreu Vizcaya, Sergio Ghigliazza Garcia, and Jaime Serra Puche, measures 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows the Mexican writer Justo Sierra and the mural Historical Representation of Culture by Juan O’Gorman.
