This 2,000 Mexican peso note is dated 28 March 1989 and signed by Banco de Mexico Cajero Jaime Pacreu Vizcaya. It is part of the DN series. The note has green, brown, and black colors and dimensions of 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features Justo Sierra, the leader of the political intelligentsia Cientificos during the administration of Porfirio Diaz, and Juan O Gormans mural on the Central Library of the National Autonomous University of Mexico Historical Representation of Culture. Its reverse side features the courtyard in the University of Mexico. This note does not have a security thread nor a watermark. It does have a guilloche overprint on the reverse side. The note is printed by Banco de Mexico.
