This uncirculated 2,000 Mexican banknote is part of the 1989 EC series. It is a green, brown, and black note that measures 157 mm x 67 mm, bears the signature of Jaime Pacreu Vizcaya, and is dated 28 March 1989. Its obverse side features the Mexican writer Justo Sierra and the mural “Historical Representation of Culture” by Juan O’ Gorman. Its reverse side shows the 19th-century courtyard of the University of Mexico. The note does not have a watermark or a security thread.
