This uncirculated 2,000 Mexican peso banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Mexico as part of the 1989 ED series. It is a green, brown, and black banknote that is dated 28 March 1989, bears the signature of Jaime Pacreu Vizcaya, and measures 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features the Mexican writer Justo Sierra and the mural “Historical Representation of Culture” by Juan O’ Gorman. Its reverse side shows the 19th-century courtyard of the University of Mexico. The banknote does not have a watermark or a security thread.
