This uncirculated 2,000 Mexican peso banknote is a standard circulation note that is part of the 1989 DY series and signed by Jaime Pacreu Vizcaya. It is a green, brown, and black note that measures 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features the writer Justo Sierra and the mural Historical Representation of Culture by Juan O’ Gorman. Its reverse side depicts the Bank of Mexico seal, a guilloche overprint, and the 19th-century courtyard with a colonnade and the equestrian statue of Carlos IV at the University of Mexico.
