The Mexico 20,000 Pesos Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1987. It has a color combination of blue, purple, and red. Featured on its obverse are Don Andres Quintana Roo and the Tulum temple. The reverse of the note depicts the bank guilloche, the Mural de Bonampak Mayan musicians, the Lintel of Yaxchillan Mayan stone carving from Chiapas, and the bank seal. The note contains a solid security thread with printed text and a watermark that reveals Don Andres Quintana Roo. The banknote is 157 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Gonzalo Garcia Rodriguez. This particular paper bill is part of Series AZ and is in uncirculated condition.
