Every notes obverse has the phrase 75TH ANIVERSARIO, 1925-2000 printed below the banks name at the upper left-hand corner. The bluish-purple 20 Mexican peso bank note has the Mexican coat of arms: a Mexican eagle perched on a cactus while eating a rattlesnake, a stylized open book pattern, two sorting bars and Benito Pablo Juarez Garcia- the first indigenous president of Mexico- printed on the obverse side. The reverse side of the note features the Juarez Semicircle in Alameda Central park. It has a solid security thread. The note measures 129 x 65 mm. The red-purple 50 Mexican peso bank note has one sorting bar and features crossed cannons, a bow and arrow, and revolutionary leader Jose Maria Morelos printed on the obverse side. The reverse side features two fishermen fishing in Michoacan, monarch butterflies and two masks. It has a solid security thread. The note measures 129 x 65 mm. The red and orange 100 peso bank note has an Aztec figure and philosopher king Nezahualcoyotl printed on the obverse side. The reverse side features the statue of Xochipili near Tlalmanalco. Its security features are a demetalized CIEN print, solid security thread, and a watermark of Nezahualcoyotl. The note measures 155 x 65 mm. The green and brown 200 peso bank note has an open book, an inkwell and quills, and poet and scholar Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz printed on the obverse side. The reverse side features the Templo de San Jeronimo in Tlacochahuaya. Its security features are a demetalized DOSCIENTOS, solid security thread, and a watermark of Juana Ines de la Cruz. The note measures 155 x 65 mm. The reddish brown 500 peso bank note features the victorious Mexican soldiers in the battle of Puebla and General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguin on the obverse side. The reverse side features the Cathedral of Puebla. Its security features are a solid security thread, a demetalized QUINIENTOS and a watermark of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguin.
