This uncirculated 20 Mexican peso banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 2021 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Mexican independence. It is dated 6 January 2021 and signed by Gerardo Esquivel Hernandez and Alejandro Alegre Rabiela. Its obverse side depicts the representation of the gate of the Army of Three Guaranties to Mexico City on September 27, 1821. Its reverse side depicts the Sian Ka-an Biosphere Reserve with mangroves, a crocodile, and a chocolate heron. Because it is a polymer note, it does not have a security thread or a watermark. However, the dimensions are 120 mm by 65 mm. The details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
