Mexico 20 Pesos Banknote, 2021, P-132a.5, UNC, Commemorative, Polymer

This uncirculated 20 Mexican peso banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 2021 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Mexican Independence. It is printed by the Banco de Mexico on a polymer substrate to strengthen its security and durability. This note also bears the signatures of Galia Borja Gomez and Alejandro Alegre Rabiela. Its obverse side depicts the peaceful entering of the Army of the Three Guarantees to Mexico City on September 27, 1821. Its reverse side portrays the ecosystem of mangroves, a Mexican crocodile, and a chocolate heron at the Sian Ka-an Biosphere Reserve. Its dimensions are 120 mm x 65 mm.
