This uncirculated 20 Mexican peso note is a commemorative banknote issued by the Bank of Mexico to celebrate the 200th anniversary of independence. It is a red and green polymer note that is dated 6 June 2022, bear the signatures of Galia Borja Gomez and Alejandro Alegre Rabiela, and measures 120 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side features the art “Solemn and peaceful entry of the Army of the Three Guaranties to Mexico City on September 27 of the memorable year of 1821”, the army flag of the Three Guaranties, and the flag of Mexico. Its reverse side shows a mangrove ecosystem in the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve with a Mexican crocodile and a chocolate heron.
