Mexico 20 Pesos Coin, 2016, KM #988, Mint, Commemorative, Contingency Plan, Coat of Arms

This bi-metallic 20 Mexican peso coin commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Civil Relief and Aid Plan for Disasters, also known as Plan DN-III-E. The coin has a copper-nickel center and a brass outer ring. Its obverse side bears the Mexican coat of arms: a Mexican golden eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus while devouring a snake. Its reverse side contains the bracelet worn during the activation of Plan DN-III-E, with two emblems that represent the army and the air force. The coin weighs 15 g and has a diameter of 32 mm. This commemorative coin is in mint condition.
