Mexico 20 Pesos Coin, 2019, KM #991, Mint, Commemorative, Antiguo Palacio del Ayuntamiento, Coat of Arms

The Mexico 20 Peso coin was issued in 2019 to commemorate the 500th Anniversary of the Foundation of the city and port of Veracruz. This bimetallic dodecagonal coin weighs 12.67 g and has a diameter of 30 mm. Sculpted in relief on one side of the coin is the national emblem depicting a golden eagle on a prickly pear cactus, devouring a snake. On the other side are a sixteenth-century ship and the Old City Hall building which is now the Municipal Palace. This coin is in mint condition.
