The Mexico 200 Pesos Banknote is part of the 2007-2008 Commemorative issues to celebrate the bicentennial of the countrys independence. This banknote is part of the 3-piece uncut sheet, is green and pink in color which measures 141 x 66 mm. The front side bears the map of Mexico as a registration device, the church bell in OVI, Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla with a banner-from Jesus Enrique Emilio de la Helguera Evans painting Don Miguel Hidalgo. The back side bears a stylized bright red cap (symbol of freedom), the Angel of Independence on Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City, and the map of Mexico along with the bank seal.
