The Mexico 200 Pesos banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 2014 with series BA. This green banknote measures 134 x 66 mm in size. The obverse side features the writer, Juana de Asbaje y Ramírez de Santillana, an open book and quill in OVI, an inkwell, quills, a library window, an open book, and the map of Mexico as a registration device. The banknote's reverse also depicts the map of Mexico, the bank seal, Hacienda de Panoayan, the baptismal font of the church of San Vicente Ferrer in Chimalhuacán, and the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhautl volcanoes. This paper bill bears a Windowed Motion security thread and solid security thread, and a watermark that shows Juana de Asbaje y Ramírez de Santillana and electrotype 200. The banknote was printed by BANCO DE MEXICO and signed by Alejandro Alegre Rabiela and Manuel Ramos Francia. This particular Mexico 200 Pesos banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
