This uncut sheet of the 2008 200 Mexican peso banknote has five pieces in uncirculated condition. The 2008 200-peso note commemorates the bicentennial anniversary of Mexicos Independence from Spain. The serial numbers of the notes start with A. Each piece is 141 mm long and 66 mm wide, and is vertically oriented. A church bell in optically variable ink and Jesus Enrique Emilio de la Helguera Evans painting Don Miguel Hidalgo are featured on the obverse side. The Angel of Independence statue on Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City, the Banco de Mexico seal, and a stylized bright red cap that symbolizes freedom are featured on the reverse side. The security features include a map of Mexico registration device, a windowed security thread with printed 200 and demetalized bell, and a watermark of the Angel of Independence with electrotype 200.
