The Mexico 5,000 Pesos belongs to the 1969-1991 Fourth Issues and is part of the Series GX. It has colors brown, black, and tan, and it measures 157 x 67 mm. The obverse side features Vicente Suarez, Juan Escutia, Juan de la Barrera, Fernando M. de Oca, and Agust Melgar, and the flag of the Batallon Activo de San Blas. On the flip side are a bank guilloche, the CASTILLO DE CHAPULTEPEC (Chapultepec castle), a bank seal, and a military college 1847 shield.
