Reviews:

The Mexico 5,000 Peso banknote is part of the Bank of Mexicos Series KQ issues released in1989. It comes in a combination of brown, black, and tan. Its obverse features the six Ninos Heroes military cadets Vicente Suarez, Juan Escutia, Juan de la Barrera, Fernando M. de Oca, and Agustin Melgar who were killed defending the Chapultepec Castle from the US forces. It also features the flag of the Battalion Activo de San Blas. The back of the paper bill depicts the Chapultepec Castle, bank guilloche, the bank seal, and the military college 1847 seal. The paper bill is 157 x 67 mm in size and is equipped with a solid security thread but unlike previous issues, it does not have SANTANA printed on the lower left of the front side. The note also carries the signature of Jaime Pacreu Vizcaya. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
