The Mexico 5 Pesos Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1969. The banknote has hints of black, brown, and green. Featured on its obverse is La Corregidora, Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez. The reverse of the note depicts the bank seal, a yucca plant, an aqueduct, houses, and the church in Queretaro. It also shows the bank guilloche. The banknote does not have a security thread and watermark but is signed by Alfonso Romo. It is 157 x 67 mm in size. This particular banknote is part of Series 1C and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, this banknote has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
