The Mexico 5 Pesos Banknote is part of the Bank of Mexico’s 1971 issues. The banknote has a color combination of black, brown, and green. The obverse portrays Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez. The reverse of the note depicts the bank seal, a yucca plant, an aqueduct, houses, and the church in Queretaro. It also shows the bank guilloche. The banknote does not have a security thread and watermark but is signed by Alfonso Romo. It is 157 x 67 mm in size. This particular banknote is part of Series 1T and is in uncirculated condition.
