The Mexico 5 Pesos Banknote is part of the Bank of Mexico’s 1971 issues, printed on paper with hints of black, brown, and green. The obverse portrays Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez. The reverse of the note depicts the bank seal, a yucca plant, an aqueduct, houses, and the church in Queretaro. It also shows the bank guilloche. The banknote does not have a security thread and watermark but is signed by Alfonso Romo. It is 157 x 67 mm in size. This particular banknote is part of Series 1Z and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, this particular banknote has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
