This Mexico 5 Peso Series 1AG banknote was released by the Bank of Mexico in 1971 with a combination of black, brown, and green. Its obverse features Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez who also known as La Corregidora. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a yucca plant, an aqueduct, houses, and the church in Queretaro. It also displays the bank seal, the bank guilloche, and a stylized eagle eating a snake. The paper bill is 157 x 67 mm in size and bears no security thread and watermark but carries the signature of Alfonso Romo. This Mexico 5 Peso banknote is in uncirculated condition.
