The Mexico 5 Pesos Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1972 in a color combination of black, brown, and green. The obverse features Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez. The reverse displays the bank seal, a yucca plant, an aqueduct, houses, the church in Queretaro, and the bank guilloche. The banknote does not have a security thread and watermark but is signed by Alfonso Romo. It is 157 x 67 mm in size. This particular banknote is part of Series 1AN and is in uncirculated condition. This note has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
