Mexico 5 Pesos Banknote, 1972, P-62c.2, UNC, Series 1AZ, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Mexico 5 Peso Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1972.It has colors black, brown, and green. On its obverse is a portrait of La Corregidora, Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez. The reverse of the paper bill note depicts the bank seal, a yucca plant, an aqueduct, houses, bank guilloches, and the church in Queretaro. The note does not contain a security thread and watermark but bears a registration in the form of a stylized eagle eating a snake. This Series 1AZ banknote is 157 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Alfonso Romo. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
