This coin highlights Ignacio Lopez Rayon, the general who led the insurgent forces during the Mexican War for Independence and established the Zitacuaro Council, the first government of Mexico. His bust is seen on one side of the coin. The other side of the coin shows the national arms of Mexico. The coin has an aluminum-bronze center and a stainless steel outer ring. It weighs 7.07 g and has a diameter of 25.5 mm. This coin is in mint condition.
