Reviews:

This bimetallic 5 Mexican peso coin is part of the Bicentenary of Independence series, a series of commemorative coins issued by the Bank of Mexico to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Mexican War of Independence. This coin highlights Carlos Maria Bustamante, a Mexican historian and supporter of Mexican Independence. His historical works initiated the Mexican tradition of searching out and publishing basic materials on the Indian past and the effects of colonialism. Bustamantes bust is seen on one side of the coin. The other side of the coin shows the national arms of Mexico. The coin has an aluminum-bronze center and a stainless steel outer ring. It weighs 7.07 g and has a diameter of 25.5 mm. This coin is in mint condition.
