This uncirculated 50,000 Mexican peso note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Mexico as part of the 1986 J series. It is a purple, black, and brown note that is dated 12 May 1986, bears the signature of Gonzalo Garcia Rodriguez, and measures 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features a stylized Cuauhtemoc bird glyph and the Aztec emperor Cuauhtemoc. Its reverse side depicts a scene of a Spaniard fighting an Aztec in bird costume from “La Fusion de dos Culturas” (Melting of Two Cultures) by Jorge Gonzalez Camarena. Security features include a solid security thread with printed text and a watermark of Cuauhtemoc.
