The Mexico 50,000 Pesos Banknote, released in 1989, and is part of the 1969-1991 Fourth issues, series HJ. It has a solid security thread with printed text and the portrait of the Cuauhtemoc as its watermark. This TAP authenticated banknote measures 157 x 67 mm and is purple, black and brown in color. The front side bears the Aztec symbols at the centre, and a portrait of a Cuauhtemoc at the right. The back side shows the Aztec and Spaniard fighting at the left centre.
