The Mexico 50,000 Pesos Banknote was released by the Bank of Mexico in 1990. The note has a color combination of purple, black, and brown. Its obverse features Aztec emperor, Cuauhtemoc. It also shows a stylized Cuauhtemoc bird glyph. The reverse of the note depicts the bank guilloche and the bank seal. It also features a Spaniard in armor fighting an Aztec in bird costume, from Jorge Gonzalez Camarena’s painting “La Fusion de dos Culturas in Chapultepec castle. The note contains a solid security thread with printed text. It also bears a watermark that reveals Cuauhtemoc. The note is 157 x 67 mm in size. This Series GX banknote is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
