This uncirculated 50,000 Mexican peso note was issued by Bank of Mexico in 1990 to address inflation. It is part of the 1990 HJ series, dated 10 January 1990, and signed by Jaime Pacreu Vizcaya. Its obverse side showcases the last Aztec emperor Cuauhtemoc and his stylized bird glyph. Its reverse side features the mural “La Fusion de dos Culturas” (The Fusion of Two Cultures) by Jorge Gonzalez Camarena. Security features of the note include a solid security thread, a watermark of Cuauhtemoc, and dimensions of 157 mm x 67 mm.
